What is Lumixa?
Lumixa represents cutting-edge advancements in fluorescent light treatment. The application of a topical gel boasting a distinct energy profile to the skin is activated by a blue LED light; the gel transforms the light into fluorescent light energy, triggering the skin’s inherent repair mechanisms at the cellular level. Lumixa treatments are designed to address signs of inflammageing and intrinsic ageing.
How Lumixa works
Lumixa contains a fluorescent chemical compound that when activated under blue LED light converts into a multi-wavelength, performing a photoconversion producing a spectrum of FLE – Fluorescent Light Energy. FLE acts within the different layers of the skin simultaneously, giving you the benefits of multiple wavelengths on both the epidermal and dermal layers within the one treatment.
Blue light: targets bacteria and inflammation on the epidermis.
Green light: stimulates healing and skin tone correction on the epidermis.
Yellow light: Boosts blood circulation on the dermis.
Red light: Stimulates collagen production and targets fibroblasts at the deepest level in the dermis.
